With the news of Campbell Newman entering state politics, it seems Anna Bligh may put an early election back into play after commenting that she wouldn't, and that 2011 would be used for a year of rebuilding in the wake of the devastating floods and Cyclone Yasi.
This is another example of politicians play politics with the voters for their own gain.
Let's work towards fixed terms, or a similar system in state government, that doesn't allow elected politicians to call elections when they feel like they have the best chance of winning.
Let's get back to the job of governing the state and looking after it's people.
